Purpose
This policy identifies the procedures and responsibility for the initial input and subsequent modification of elements on the Project Status Table.

For the initial entry or modification of a status code.
Departments
Determine the code value and the description of the status to be added to the table for new entries, and ensure that it is not already on the table. For the modification of an existing entry, the only data that can be modified is the Status Name and the Status Short Name. Complete the Project Status Table Addition and Modifications form and forward it to the Division of Finance. The Project Status Table Form and completion instructions are included in this section of the manual.
Division of Finance
When the Project Status Table Additions and Modifications form is received, review for completeness. If either the addition or modification can be made, update the table and notify the requestor that the entry is completed. If the addition or modification cannot be made, notify the requestor and state reason that entry cannot be made. The instructions for data entry are included in the Internal Finance section of this manual.
