P-card policy

Policies

Learn rules and guidelines for using a p-card

If you have a p-card, you’re responsible to understand and comply with all laws, rules, and policies related to making purchases. Read our p-card policies and ask your supervisor what additional reading or training is required in order to have a p-card.

Agencies: make sure your p-card holders understand Utah Procurement Code, Administrative Code R33, and policies from the GovOps Division of Purchasing.

Read p-card policy

Our p-card policy covers the responsibility of p-card holders, applying for p-cards, rules for purchases, limiting p-card purchases through spending limits and blocking merchant category codes, what to do if a p-card is lost or stolen and how to return a p-card that is no longer needed. It also covers p-card reconciliation in Concur.
