Time Saver Program

Budget Fastbreak Express Service

Travelers may sign up with Budget Car Rental for their Fastbreak program, which eliminates or greatly reduces the amount of time spent waiting to pick up a car at the airport. There is no cost to sign up for this program.

Fastbreak express service allows travelers to save time and get on the road quickly without the lines and paperwork. When you complete an on-line profile, you will receive a Budget Customer Number (BCN) at the conclusion of the process. You should provide your Budget Customer Number to the State Travel Office so the agents can add the number to your Traveler Profile. Be sure to use your BCN to book your car rental reservations only through the State Travel Office.

The Budget Web site provides an on-line enrollment form and information on program details.

Insurance

Budget and Enterprise both provide full insurance coverage for travel within the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Do not take out additional insurance if you are traveling only in the U.S. Additional insurance is not needed and will not be reimbursed.

The insurance provides primary liability coverage of $100,000 bodily injury per person; $300,000 maximum bodily injury per occurrence; and $25,000 property damage per occurrence. It also provides full collision/loss damage waiver (LDW). However, the insurance does not cover items left in the rental cars.

If you rent a vehicle outside the 50 United States, insurance is not included in the contract rate. In this case, the insurance should be purchased and will be reimbursed.
